[Husker] Pederson

Let me see here. The Huskers' schedule is being blasted for playing
cupcakes in 2005. This is somehow different than the schedule in the past?

2004 - W. Illinois, S. Miss, Pitt
2003 - Utah St, S. Miss, Penn St., Troy St.
2002 - Ariz St., Troy St., Utah St., Penn St., McNeese St.
2001 - TCU, Troy St., Notre Dame, Rice
2000 - San Jose St., Notre Dame, Iowa
1999 - Iowa, California, S. Miss
1998 - Louisiana Tech, UAB, California, Washington

Here are some other schools the team has scheduled in the 90's and 80's
(none were good teams when the Huskers scheduled them)

Akron, Central Florida, Pacific, Wyoming, N. Texas, Utah, Middle Tenn St.,
N. Illinois, Minnesota, UNLV, S. Carolina, Oregon, Illinois, New Mexico

And the list goes on.

Good AD's schedule weak opponents for the non-conference schedule. Great
AD's schedule 1-poor team, 1-middle team, and 1-top 25 team. Next year's
schedule, although not quite to that level, approaches that philosophy. ND
doesn't have that leisure, as they are not in a conference, and therefore
are not concerned about preparing for a conference championship. The
Huskers need to concentrate on winning the Big XII before they worry about
playing for a National Championship.

Schedule looks about right to me.
