[Husker] 2005 NU Football Schedule Set

If I remember proper English and grammar, then one
ought not use the terms "Gentlemen's Agreement" and
"Athletic Director" in the same breath. Although,
in cases of extreme deceit, the insertion of "weasel"
is acceptable.

If you put yourself in SP's shoes, then you surely
have already concocted some type of spin.

Half-time ceremony may go something like this.

Announcer:

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Nebraska leads Maine at halftime
10-7. Please direct your attention to the 50 yard line
near the west stadium. Does anyone else hear an echo in
hear?"

SP

"Welcome, to the 269th consecutive sell out at Memorial
Stadium. We thank our fans for supporting the program.
(grin)

With the 10-7 halftime lead, I can assure you that the
program is still headed in the right direction. (smile)
I am really excited about the direction of the program.
Honest. (grin)

Soon the 3 game losing streak will be behind us. (smile)
I refuse to let this program gravitate to mediocrity.
Thank You for your support (with a stiff upper lip).

On a personal note, Harv and I would like to thank everyone
who has supported us as we go thru re-hab. Honest. (grin)

Now, let's enjoy Andrew W.K. Andrew is a part-time student
this fall and is taking communication courses "Reality Bites
101" and "Win-Spin Negotiating". I'd like to thank Andrew
who was gracious enough to perform with the marching band."

Sounds to me like we had a gentlemens agreement, just
had to sign the papers and we backed out. Isn't that
the way games are made? Two ADs talk on the phone or
at a conference and work out an agreement and then one
sends the paperwork to the other with their end signed
and the reciever signs the contract and sends it back?
