I bet if Nebraska was playing USC, Florida St., Miami and Michigan to open 
the season people would still bitch about Pederson somehow.

I think playing teams that seem beatable is the best thing this team can do 
at this stage, whether any of us fans agree with it or not.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing Temple, Rutgers, Utah Tech or whoever on 
the schedule next year- playing great teams will just give the pessimists reason 
to rip the coaches, and why start off 0-4 when you could be 4-0 with a new 
system? There isn't a team in the country (except Notre Dumb) that doesn't 
schedule patsies, and look where it's gotten them- people have forgotten about the 
circus in Lincoln because of the fiasco in South Bend lately. But, as I said, 
folks will find fault with anything.
