Nope, sorry.  You can't equate MIP and a misdemeanor controlled substance
charge with rape.  One gets you at most time in the county jail, the other 
gets you a lengthy stay at state expense with really nasty roommates.  
I don't know Mizzou's policy for dealing with athletes who get in trouble
with the law, but I've never been that clear on Nebraska's policy, either.  

However, both are still charges at this point, and the legal process is
likely to be lengthy, especially in Missouri.  

Because this is the Husker List and not the Tigers List, the Horne
case should and almost certainly will get more coverage here, which 
will undoubtably bore many of us. 

Are you SURE it isn't baseball season yet?
