[Husker] David Horne

Maybe Bob Beach and I are a little old fashion.  I don't do drugs nor do I approve of drug use.  To me a Husker football player should be a role model for others.  I believe drug abusers are a cancer on Husker football.  The sooner they leave the program the better.  I will not make excuses for him, nor will I do I want to see drug addicts like David Horne participate in Husker football.  Maybe some of the live and let live people on this list tolerate drugs and under age drinking and goodness knows what else, but I don't and I hope the Athletic Department does not.  
 
I saw a post earlier today about a Missouri football player who was accused of rape and sodomy.  Would you be defending David Horne if he raped and sodomized a young man like the Missouri player was accused of?  Do you want to have rapists and sodomists on the team lining up behind drug addicts?  I sure hope not.

So, why exactly do you direct so much venom toward a college athlete? Does 
it run deeper than him simply not performing and getting in trouble? As a 
fan, I can understand being upset over Horne not producing and about 
off-the-field problems. However, I think your comments go way beyond that.
