[Husker] QBs on scholarship

This was a common complaint from my Notre Dame friends during the Gerry Faust 
era, when he, too, was overly aggressive in going after QB's and frequently 
had five+ on the roster during his tenure.  Notre Dame was short some depth at 
linebacker and the defense in general, as a result of too many QB's.  They 
generally attributed this inbalance to Faust's inexperience in college football.

I suspect that Callahan would have little difficulty in pulling the 
scholarships from players who are not going to contribute.
