It is comical to me how much stuff like this is overblown. Would anyone like to take a guess how many students each year in Lincoln get arrested for minor in possession, fake ID's and marijuana possession? I would guess that the percentage of students amongst the general population of students is far more significant than the percentage of football players on the team that get caught doing the same thing. 

Further, how many of the hypocrites that will blow and bluster on this list about this incident can honestly say that they never drank before they were of legal age? How about used a fake ID? How about those of you amongst the Vietnam generation that never used marijuana or other illicit drugs? 

Crimes are crimes, but these are all misdemeanors and my point is that those who are guilty of having done the same things in life (whether they got caught or not) should probably keep the grumbling to a minimum. 

And my apologies in advance to anyone who has already commented on this negatively that is not guilty of the same things.
