I don't even know where to start. Gill's first response is he planned on staying. He added he would evaluate. That says to me that first and foremost he wanted to stay. It would be the same thing as saying "I really want to stay on my job and am planning on it but I am always open to offers." The thing is Gill, publicly, had no offers. There is one thing for sure between when Turner said he is planning on staying and Friday's press conference SOMETHING happened to change his mind. I am only throwing out possibilities on what that might be. Do you know for certain sure this decision was Turner's and Turner's alone? I don't. It may have been but it may not have been. I just thought the timing of the two situations coming out only two days apart was a little odd. Typically it takes a little longer than that to evaluate and make a life changing decision. I am not saying Turner didn't speak the truth. I am only suggesting something may have happened he wasn't planning on.
