    The other thing I find a little amusing is there was a time Spurrier was
intensely disliked among NU fans.  When Pederson was doing his search for a
coach Spurrier's name came up and there were all kinds of comments among
fans to the effect "oh no, anyone but Spurrier."  Now Spurrier is an
authority figure to whom our coach should listen.  It is always interesting
to me how things cycle.

I agree one-hundred percent with your assessment regarding Spurrier's
comments and how some Nebraska fans percieve the old Gator's coach.  I'm not
so sure that all of those people who were anti-Spurrier 12 months would
still hold the same opinion.  In fact, I'm one of the few who thought that
Spurrier was an very talented coach who could do well at Nebraska.  Your
correct about how things cycle.
