I would think that would be natural. I remember way back in the dark ages when I graduated from high school. After graduation I felt very comfortable going back to basketball practices and even going into the locker room at halftime of games to hear what went on. After two years my old coach was fired and a new coach brought in. After that I didn't have the same level of comfortability. The new coach was very cordial to me but it wasn't the same. I didn't feel that connection I felt when my old coach was in place. I would think Frost would feel that way. The only member of the coaching staff that was around when Frost played was Gill.

I think we may find out as time passes this Gill resignation holds more than meets the eye. Gill, and others, have stated Gill has nothing waiting for him and he is going to begin his search. Typically that isn't the way it works. Typically one doesn't leave their position until they have a job offer or want to retire, at least if they want to stay in coaching. Army would be tough for anyone to build a program. You just can't recruit to Army, or any Service Academy, the way you could to other schools. Turner Gill is, and always has been, a class act. He was a credit to the athletic program both on and off the field. I wish him nothing but the best in whatever he decides to do.
