[Husker] Volleyball Super Regionals

Good Morning All:

In response to Jay's question about the second weekend of the volleyball tournament:

Starting in 2003 the NCAA began assigning (before the season starts) the Regional Finals (Super Regionals or whatever they call them) to four locations. Last year Nebraska hosted a Regional Final and because they did the cannot host one this year (actually I believe you can only host once every three years). 

This change was made so that ticket sales could be "pumped up" and fans and schools knew for certain where the regional finals would be played for travel issues. Selling tickets at Nebraska is not a problem but for some of the schools it's not as easy and it allows schools to bill for regional tickets on their normal season ticket billing invoices.
