If the correlation is that strong, then differential analysis between 
the season record of the team and the number of players who get post 
season honors is pointless.  

And if you believe in that linking, what was your reason for asking 
when the last time so few Huskers made the all-conference list?
It seems to me like you should have know the answer:  2002.
