We have a outside door sensor (magnet) that doesn’t work. A security friend of mine (retired) replaced the magnet, etc., but it still doesn’t work. He’s guessing there is a problem in the wiring somewhere and we’ll have to tone it out (when it gets cooler – we’re in AZ – yet I have an attic you can walk in and the wires are all mounted at chest level). Anyway, And, I haven’t been able to find anyone locally that works on an Omni Pro II system. So, I was wondering if this sounds like a broken wire or something else? I can Bypass it at the keypads (which then shows as bypassed in the Installer software that I’ve had for years). And, I can Restore it at the keypads, which then changes it to Secure. But, ether way in my copy of the installer software, it shows as secure. And, it doesn’t beep when you open the door.
