a company to buy into a market only to ditch the product after they
build out their own product line. Leviton is a slow moving, private,
family owned company so it took them longer to dump the product they
purchased. Intel does it all the time as do other tech

legacy product designs expire due to component obsolescence so they
need to spend money for updates. They never did a bit of this so they
probably rode the horse as long as they could.</div><div

house and that has been planned for three years. I originally planned
to use HAI stuff for the new house based on prior experience but now it
looks like I'll go with Elk. I will dump the other Leviton products
that were specified, such as outlets, smart switches, surge
suppressors, etc while I'm at it. Who needs them. Sure glad I turned
down the firmware dev job they offered me a few years ago. They were in
the process of outsourcing a bunch of work overseas at the

<p class="MsoNormal">I can’t answer for the expansion enclosure schematic but I seriously doubt you will ever find schematic for any of the omni product line. Forget leviton to provide any kind of help beside you might try to give them a call, they used to
do a flat rate repair fee on omni controller, you might be in luck to get your expension board fixed but I have a doubt... good luck with Leviton, they SUCK at supporting the HAI line.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Leviton... I don’t understand why I company would buy a product line and ditch that line of products so badly as they are doing right now... the last update was in 2017, the leviton service is HORRIBLE, if you have an old board to be repaired,
the service is terribly bad on top that we got charge custom duties for a REPAIR !</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Leviton absolutely do NOT care about that product line. No developpement, no support what so ever on any more recent third party products, they don’t even support their own wifi lighting system. I wanted to get the updated omni II protocol
to get configuration from a controller but Leviton REFUSE to let go that information.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The mobile app is horrible and third party app developpers all abandon the platform (haiku, space). Now there is one app supported by vietnamese company for android but as soon they will ditch the support, we will be left in the dark with
that beautiful (old indeed but rock solid) platform that is the omni line.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I’ve done soooo many install with that omni controller, drapes and blinds, extensive multi-zone sprinklers control (over 500 line of code), gate and garage door openeners, lutron and HLC lighting, crestron lighting integration, audio control
with xantech and russound, pool and spa temperature control, HVAC control (30 thermostats project !) and it NEVER fails. IF it does fail it is a programming error or cabling. Otherwhise, that controller is Always up and running.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I am so disapointed to see that product going away. In the past, I had a PERFECT, QUICK, efficient support from HAI direct either for technical questions or repairs. Now, when I call leviton, the « tech » at the other end Always seem to
be bored and can’t wait to get out of the office to get a beer... and it takes 30-40 minutes to get answer... these tech don’t know s#!t about omni product, they just take support manuals and read the procédures... I HATE it soo much that we are looking for
antoher brand of controller unfortunately... Elk M1 gold maybe... at least they support a broader range of third party products and programming is similar to HAI with less powerfull integration than HAI though...</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It sucks to see that line die with absolutely no hint of future upgrade and/or support for third party devices. They ditch all HAI engineers (which are probably retired now) and that is it.</p>

<div>Batteries don't seem to charge properly on this one 1102.. On this panel, it reads just over 12 V.. All the other panels are 13.6 +- a bit... Normal charge voltage for a SLA battery.</div>

<div>There's a N-Channel Mosfet also fried in the battery charging circuit. Wish I knew what the charging circuit looked like. Its a pain in the butt to trace foil traces and try to derive a schematic.</div>

<div>Looks like when Leviton bought out HAI they just keep the high-volume products and dropped all the rest??? Sad!. Wonder what happened to the good HAI employees? As a product line, is Leviton doing any new development? Or, just going to rake in the meager
profits and let the product line die? I REALLY love this HAI product line. I'm 20+ years on this.. 3 expansion enclosures.. All sprinklers, drapes, lights and other misc things controlled via HAI panel. </div>
