with getting the RC-1000 to work properly. Should be a simple installation

from a RC-100 thermostat to a RC-1000. The existing RC-100 works just

Carrier single stage heat pump, it uses only one 24 volt

<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="COLOR: #1f497d; FONT-SIZE: 14pt">I remove the
RC-100 and installed the RC-1000, connected wire, thermostat lights up,
configured the RC-1000 for heat pump, connection to HAI
functioning, fan turns on and off manually. BUT when I select heat, the
compressor just clicks and doesn’t start up.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

only 5 wires, 2 for the 24 volt, 1 for the reversing valve, 1 for the fan, and
one for the compressor relay should be a no brainer. The jumper is on for using
one 1 24 volt transformer.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
