We had a problem similar to this with an RC-80BZ. Tech support had us go into installation, to the calibration menu. Then started clicking down until we got to zero and kept going past it. It rolled over to the top of the calibration numbers back to our normal setting. This was a reset procedure for some internal register. I don't remember if it was going down and past 0 or up and past 60 or whatever the value is, so you might want to try both. Once we were out of programming mode, the it returned to normal operation.<br>

I woke up this morning and one of my four RC-80 thermostats, the one that<br>
does heat only for a hydronic radiant floor in the master bath, was reading<br>
'27' and the heat was off.<br>

I've reset the 'stat and switched it to centigrade and back to Fahrenheit<br>
and reset it again and it remains non-functioning (no change when a hair<br>
dryer is trained on the thermostat).<br>

Using dealer PC-Access Version 3.2 I see the thermostat reporting "User<br>
Setting 20", all the other thermostats are reporting normally. I am able to<br>
connect to the thermostat from PC-Access and alter settings, but nothing I<br>
do changes the reading of '27'.<br>

I see that RC-80/RC-81 thermostats are no longer available; what would be<br>
the replacement if I have to replace it?<br>
