Sorry if this beginning to a string has already
appeared...I somewhat remember it but cannot remember the details. I use
Web-Link II and Video Link in a number of houses, all with the Hauppauge PCI
video board. I'm not crazy with the Hauppage board and wanted to try some
better models. Trying the AVI PCI Board, but Microsoft Decoder ver. 7
doesn't support it. So, upgraded to the Decoder ver. 9, and the Board and
the decoder work great (with many great features that the Hauppage board doesn't
support). Haven't yet programmed Web-Link II with it, but wondered if
anyone has used the Decoder ver. 9 with Web-Link II. I vaguely remember a
time when we were deinstalling the new decoder (forget the version) from
Microsoft to revert back to ver. 7 to be compatible with Web-Link. Anyone
using ver. 9 successfully?
