<DIV><SPAN class=470215512-15062005><FONT face=Arial>Thank you to everyone who
offered assistance in configuring a modem for local and remote access of an
Aegis/Omni system. As a company, we have decided to no longer support this
method of programming and system access. I have spent hours attempting to
connect with various computers (in the last year we have had many customers
upgrade their computer to find that PCAccess no longer
works).</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

<DIV><SPAN class=470215512-15062005><FONT face=Arial>When I fisrt began
installing HAI products in 1997, I was amazed at the telephone interface and the
ability to use a dial-up modem to access the system from anywhere in the
home. It is ironic that one of my favorite features has become my most
hated.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

<DIV><SPAN class=470215512-15062005><FONT face=Arial>I respect that HAI has made
significant improvements, offering a standard serial port and the ethernet
connections, however, I find myself taking the Microsoft approach - sorry, we no
longer support that, you'll have to upgrade. It doesn't make happy
customers; trust me. If only they had known to keep that old, outdated
clunker of a computer. It would have allowed them access to their modern
sophisticated home mangement system, everthing would be
fine.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>
