Is there another list or forum people are using for Omni discussion these days? I have a 42A00-2 wireless receiver connected to an OmniPro II. Recently, it indicated that a wireless sensor had a supervisory fault.? I replaced the batteries in the sensor and it appears to be working properly, but I had to power cycle the wireless receiver to clear the fault.? Is there another way to clear the fault on the receiver?? That is a pity... I've never encounter this problem with the wireless receiver, I usually replace the batteries in the sensor and trouble code goes away... I don't think it will cause an issue that you did cycle the power on the antenna... If there is a problem with the sensor, it will code a trouble again. Can't be worst than losing power with a total battery drain, this is what would've have happened anyway. I think you are ok with your solution. Probably the carbon contact has wear off, I've been able to fix some by sticking aluminum tape but there is danger that it can detach and fall on electronic board and create other shorts. You can also try to apply conductive paint to fix this, find that stuff on eBay but always wear out too... The best I've done to fix this was to find a useless tv remote, cut the carbon pas and glue it on the defective one. Let's say it's Keypad Address #2, you can now power down the panel & battery, swap keypads. On power restoral, keypads will ALL be beeping...go-to new keypad, press and hold 4+Up together and change its address! Done! It will read panel data shortly. Seeing the writing on the wall, I would guess it's some other product.? When my OmniPro was installed there weren't many traditional security products that could be interfaced with control systems.? That's since changed.
