[Hai-users] multiple ON commands

John,
I think you are on the right track with a flag. I would establish a "door
flag", and when any of the three doors go NOT READY, Turn door flag ON for
12 minutes. That way, any door that opens will reset the flag back to 12
min.
Then, call for the entrylight to turn on when the door flag turns ON, and
then have the light go off when the door flag turns OFF.
I have a very similar program with the units being different, and I think
this should get over your high activity problems.

Subject: [Hai-users] multiple ON commands
Hi all,
I've got a OP2 with UPB interface running. Having an issue with a program
I'm trying to do.
I'm trying to turn an entry light on for 12 minutes when any of 3 different
doors open (zones.)
1 is wired, and 2 are wireless. all zones work great, and I see all status
when open/closed.
This might be more of a programming question.
Currently I have a program set when any of the 3 zones go Not Ready I turn
the EntryLight on for 12 minutes. With little activity this works great, but
when you go through the doors a bunch the system hiccups and will not either
turn off or turn on the light.
I'm thinking maybe I need to program this a different way. Maybe any zone
turns the light ON and then sets a flag timer, and can reset the flag timer?
I'm more of a JDS Stargate programmer, and though i've converted all over to
hai OP2, I am just not as skilled in using the HAI language for programming.
any advice?
Thanks,
John.
