Don't believe it can be done the way you want to.

Subject: Re: [Hai-users] HAI PC Access User Settings

I have been kinda banging my head against the wall trying to have my
OmniPro2 automatically display a temp on my 2-line keypad automatically.

I have no trouble to "show" a message on input or schedule, like
"Garbage Night" every wed night. but I can't find a way to inject a
temperature sensor value into the "message" field so I can display
the temp automatically on the display.

"Freezer is 25F" etc, with the value being from the actual temp sensor.

I have gotten used to just pressing the correct keys to navigate the
temp sensor, and hitting # # to get display. But I really want to use
the display to cycle through things like outdoor temp/hot tub
temp/humidity/storage freezer temp etc...

Has anyone done that? I'm hoping I'm just missing a programming tool
or "variable" or something. I was hoping those "user settings" were
my solution to this task, but not so.

Something tells me this would be easy with the touchscreen pads...
heh heh, but thats a different animal $$ wise.

I do use HomeSeer interface and have some Iphone screens built so I
can see these temperatures, so I know I could bolt an Ipad to the
wall and use HomeSeer to make a custom interface. But I was hoping I
could accomplish this little temperature display task with existing
equipment.

Thanks,
John.
