[Hai-users] thermostat control problem...again...

Back in November, I was having an issue with controlling my thermostats; a copy of the email is below describes the problem.

After gathering some info from folks, I decided to replace the "Output Controller Chip" that is located at U31.  This seemed to have solved the problem...until early this week.

I am now having the same problem as before.  At this point I have:

1.  power-cycled the system
2.  reseated the chip
3.  reloaded the configuration
4.  triple-checked all of the wiring, esp the connections to/from the tstats
5.  shot the board with circuit board cleaner (which has the side-effect of cooling it down to chk if heat related)

and still no love...

I'm kind of at the end of any ideas, so I think I left with:

1.  Pull the board out and send to HAI for repair (do they do that?  is it worth doing?  turnaround?)
2.  Get another OmniPro board from flea-bay and swap it out
3.  upgrade ($$$)

any one have any suggestions/thoughts on what I can try next?
