Al;
If it was an Aegis 3000, you'd be in luck. You could simply upgrade the
firmware and re-write the code in PC Access. Since you have and Aegis 2000,
you may be able to send it into HAI to have them perform the upgrade. But
even if it were possible, you'd still have a board with no Ethernet. You may
even be able to find a refurbished Aegis board from some members on this
list.
If it were me, I'd just buy a new Omni 2e and have the flexibility to
upgrade the firmware anytime. Just rewrite the code you'll be up and running
with the same consoles, thermostats, sensors etc.
Just my 2c
Paul

Subject: [Hai-users] Re-use HAI Aegis panel
Folks,
I have a circa 2000 Aegis panel that I'd like to recycle. I have two
questions.
1. Can it be used with the Omni keypads?
2. Is there a firmware upgrade that converts it to an Omni?
Hope someone out there has the answer.
Cheers,
Al
