[Hai-users] UPB appliance control through UPS units

Anyone been able to reliably get UPB signals through UPS units in order to control appliances/units that are protected with uninterrupted power supply units?  Even X10 went through most of them (although not all).  Or perhaps split the signal and supply it also on the output side of the UPS unit?
