It could be lots of things, but I'd start by checking for loose wiring or
connections. It also makes a huge difference whether this is a new
installation, or the system's been working for a while and this problem only
recently started.
In addition to a loose wire or connection, other possible causes are failing
hardware (panel, keypad, or other peripherals), or even something in
programming.

On an OmniPro II we're getting repeated beeping from the console at odd
hours. The message says "nocontrollerdata00". We cancel twice and it goes
away; but, then come back the next time the unit is put in night mode (not
right away, but usually in the wee hours of the morning). What is this?
