Hi Brad,

I usually power down/up in a different order:

Disconnect transformer
Disconnect battery

Connect battery
Connect transformer.

Is there a reason you disconnect the battery first? I haven't seen any
problems doing it the way I do it, though it does generate a "power off"
event.
