Actually, you're not supposed to program anything else in those slots - but
do go ahead and name them.  

 

The reason is those addresses will control all the individual devices below
them.  For example, turning the "Kitchen" (Unit 9) off will turn off all the
devices in that "room" (Unit 10 through 16).  It will also show feedback for
the entire room, ie., if any of the Units below it are on, the Controller
address will show as on, and if all of them are off it will report as off.
