It is great you got this going. I started doing something similar but
didn't finish it. I started a YACC grammar to do the parsing under
Linux/unix.
I decoded the Omnilink program format and wrote a translator that
would output text in the same format as PC Access. You could do the
same thing for your program format. At least that would close the
loop on your parser/text generator correctness.
