[Hai-users] CAA66 and RNET

The 2-Way RNET (control and metadata) works with the CAA, CAM and CAV.

The CAS does not have RNET support so the HAI just has 2-way control and
zone feedback (volume, power, etc.) , no metadata.

Is this the same deal for all Russound Rnet Amps (specifically the CAA66
and the CAS44)? Use HAI touchscreen and get the data from the Ibridge
and St2 tuners?

The HAI will support 2-way RNET information.

You are correct, the KP6/KPL keypads only support RNET control and not
RNET data (meta data).

Hello,

I am thinking about adding a CAA66 system to my house. I will not use
any russound keypads (KP6/KPL) but control the system using Omni touch
screens.

The CAA66 doc says it has RNET support but RNET data is not displayed on
the keypads. Does this just refer to the KP6/KPL keypads? Will the
current channel or song still be displayed on the omni touch screens?

Thanks

Tom
