[Hai-users] Upgrading to UPB

I have ordered a cable for my UPB PIM. That will help me to further my
UPB programming. I do have a question about how UPB works differently
then X-10. I have my front porch lights that usually come on to 50%
power until I open a door in the house or garage. Now with UPB I'm
having trouble duplicating the same scenario. Trial and error I know
but you guys know this stuff. I tried using the following:
When Outside (flag) on Brighten 4 for porch lights ( turns them on at
sunset)
Then if front door not ready brighten 9 for five minutes ( any door or
garage opens)
This works to brighten but you UPB guys will know why my porch lights do
not return to brighten 4 like I used to be able to do with X-10.
Thanks
Guy

Have you tried using UPB Upstart software to program them? I find that
if it isn't the HAI lightswitch or plug in module, then Upstart can
program it and then the HAI controller can access it by device id.
