Has anyone experience with this temp/humidity/light/water sensor product?

Although they have disclamers about perfect accuracy, they seem pretty 
cost-effective
and simple to install.  And the serial connection (and USB software) for 
both Linux and
Windows makes it interesting to me.

Seems like one single CAT-5 loop could do an entire residential building.
Of course, I'm not suggesting this be used for HVAC control, at least 
for temp,
but it might have some value for Occupiency tests, dark rooms, etc.
