[Hai-users] Outdoor temp sensor question

I have a OmniPro installed in my home, it is about 8 years old.  The outdoor 
temp sensor started reading about 8 degrees higher than the actual 
temperature so I just finished swapping it out with a new one.  The new one 
has been in for about 4 hours now and it is reading extermely high; the temp 
outside is probably around 78-80 degrees and the HAI outdoor temp sensor says 
it is 120.  Does it take awhile for the sensor to stablize or perhaps the new 
sensors are no longer compatible with an older system?
