[Hai-users] Motion sensor going bad??

I have an OmniPro installed which is about 7 years old.  Yesterday, the 
monitoring company called me and told me that they received a burglary alarm 
from my home and that a motion sensor was the reporting zone.  This motion is 
configured as a type 3, 'Away Interior'.

The placement of this motion, at the top of my basement stairs, should not 
have been the sole reason for the alarm since you need to 'pass through' the 
perimeter first to get there.  Looking at the logs bears this out.  BTW...I 
have no pets and hopefully, no rodents  :))

I check the values of the zones using 'status/test' (press '6', then '4' on 
the console) and noticed that the 'standard' value fluctuates between 145-148 
but I caught the zone this motion is on drop to the 118-125 range.  Could a 
drop like this cause the motion to go 'not ready'?  Does this mean the motion 
is going bad and needs to be replaced?
