[Hai-users] Temp Sensor

I am installing my outdoor HAI temperature sensor and believe I am missing a step. This is what I have done:
    1. Ran 3 wire 18 gauge to the location of the sensor.
    2. Verified connectivity through each wire.
    3. Mount sensor and connect accordingly.
    4. Program Omni II for that zone (zone 15) to be an outdoor temperature unit.
    5. Connect Omni II side wires according to diagram supplied with sender.
    6. Since it was not working, I verified I had 12v at the temperature sensor. That was fine - proper polarity as well.
When I do a status check on the temperature it is always '0'. Since we have been much warmer (and usually colder) then that it appears the unit is not working properly. I was wondering if it was a resistor issue (my resistors option is set to 'yes' and there was a resistor on this zone that was previousily empty), but I have an RC-80 that I was able to get working last year without incident (zone 16). Also. my RC80 does not report the outdoor temperature (ie 0) and was wondering if something needs to be done there as well.
    Looking for suggestions......
    Darren
