[Hai-users] Can't access Web-link from clients

Yes, it matters. If you turn off the firewall on all computers on the network and you don't have any antivirus software providing a firewall, then you should have access to the Web-link server. What you describe (the server providing the login page, but failure to communicate further) sure sounds like a block from a firewall. Is the XP Firewall turned off on ALL computers on the network and are there any Norton or other Internet security software active?

  Thanks Doug,
I have XP firewall turned off. Does that matter?

Do you have Web-Link listed as an exception for the XP Pro firewall? For access to the server computer, this have to be listed on all computers on the network.

    New install of Web-Link II.
    Xp Pro
Can access weblink pages just fine from server machine.
When I go to 2 other machines on my network, and attempt, I get the Web-Link Login page. I type in the correct user name and access code.
I click Login, and all that happens is the User name and Access code is cleared from the dialog boxes. Web-link never serves up the pages.
If I go back to the server machine and attempt to log in, then Web_link says user is already logged in.
    Suggestions appreciated.
