I don't disagree, however, the installer's items (zones, communicator,
thermostats, etc.) can easily be configured at the keypad. The greatest
value of the software is for entering labels and most importantly
programming.  It's a choice based on budget and your level of comfort with
the keypad programming.  I suggest that it is important to gain some
proficiancy with keypad programming.

Configure any of the installer settings; Zones, Areas, Thermostats,
Communication Options, Expansion modules, etc.

If you plan to "fully" configure and maintain the system, you'll need the
installer version...
