[Hai-users] PC-Access with Aegis 2000?

Hi folks,
After an extended period of disuse, I think I may have resolved the 
false alarm issues with my Aegis 2000.

As I wanted to finally finish programming some things, I bought a copy 
of the 1105W PC-Access dealer s/w (v 2/7) to update my ancient 1106W 
user s/w installation.

I confess I'm not entirely surprised, but the new software acknowledges 
that I have an Aegis, then refuses to speak to it. Does anyone know if 
there's a way to use the new software with this older system, or do I 
have to go buy it from yet another manufacturer who will change hands in 
  6 months?

I'm beginning to feel like purchasing what was (at the time) the high 
end was a big mistake, especially for an end user who is willing to take 
some responsibility for the maintenance of the system.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
